Ford has been wanting to take Daddy and Jake to this park for a few weeks, but we've had some busy weekends and a little bit of crazy weather. We finally made there and he was so excited to show them the bouncing truck.
This is the best place to feed ducks. There are a ton of them and they are very friendly and used to people feeding them. We also saw a bunch of ducklings waddling around, what a treat!
Ford and Jake recently started swimming lessons at an indoor pool. This is the second week. The first week was a rough experience for Ford. He cried the entire time. They still took him in the water, but he never stopped crying and yelling "Mommy". I was able to bring him during the week for open swim while Jake was at school and it sure did pay off. They both did great at week 2. We are getting prepared for summer and are planning on doing a lot of swimming!

Pre-Easter Fun
We hosted a special Easter Playgroup that included an Egg Hunt! We had a great time with yummy lunch, a craft, and a bunch of playing. I actually got a picture of Jake doing the egg hunt. This was at the very end. He did not want to participate because he was afraid the Easter Bunny was going to be there. He developed a fear of the Easter Bunny this year after the last egg hunt/spring party.
Blake and Benjamin came over after school one day which is a huge treat for Ford and Jake. They just love their cousins. Ford and I happened to get a painting craft earlier that day. It was perfect to keep all 4 boys occupied!
Ford and Jake colored eggs for the first time this year. They had fun picking out the colors then decorating with stickers. They did a good job on listening to instructions and the final product turned out great!
We also did some cookie decorating. I think more of the icing went into their mouths instead of on the cookies!

Bikes and Family Night
Now that we have two working tricycles, the boys are enjoying riding them around a parking lot nearby. They were going up and down a small ramp, then they decided to do a tandem style ride. These tender moments give Mommy relief from the wrestling/fighting moments. Thanks again Grandpa for helping us fix the "blue bike".
Jake's school hosted a Math and Literacy Family Night recently. Jake was so proud to show us the way to the activity room at his school. They had stations of different activities and provided handouts so we can re-create them at home over the summer. It was fun to see Jake in action and Ford got to explore his future school.
About a week earlier, Jake was given a home assignment of decorating a paper cut out person to resemble him. He helped picked out the decorations and glued it. When we walked into school, we found his right away near the entrance. He was so proud and wanted to take it home with us.
